Valentine's Day is Upon Us!

Pop into the Emporium to pick up some tea, or perhaps some sweeties for your sweetie! And browse for one of our charming Valentine's cards from our stock while you're here!

Time Again for the Bun Run!

Come & get your HOT CROSS BUNS - our scrumptious, locally-baked recipe is back this year! We Brits can get quite misty-eyed about our fave Easter teatime treats (actually we think they taste good anytime of the day!) Try these slightly spicy, glazed sticky buns (sweet rolls) split, then toasted, and spread with lashings of proper British Butter!

Also new in the shop: Curdelicious Buttermilk Scone Mix

Our terrific new-recipe buttermilk scone mix from Curdelicious makes baking really creamy scones easy - just add water and oil (or butter for a richer taste) and bake! Its made with all-natural products and features a wonderful rich buttermilk taste. Perfect with strawberry jam or topped with cream!

The Telegraph (http://telegraph.co.uk/expat) is having a contest to find the "Best of British" establishments which bring home a bit of the UK to expats around the world.

Do you love what we do? Visit the Telegraph website and nominate us as your favourite British shop as 'The Best of British' - YOU MIGHT WIN TICKETS TO ENGLAND including hotel accomodation! Nominations have been extended to February 15. Every vote counts - thanks for your support!

We're Sadler Teapot HQ, too!

You'll find more classic, vintage Sadler English-made teapots in our store than you'll find anywhere else. From Henry VII to floral designs, our selection is ever-changing, so check back often!

November 5th, 2009:
Our Seventeenth Birthday

The British Emporium landed on Grapevine's Main Street 17 years ago. We want to say a heartfelt "Thank You" for the many wonderful years we've been able to be here, serving Brits and Anglophiles from all across North Texas. We're conveniently located in North Texas, just 5 minutes north of the D/FW Airport.
